Giving Works

Period poverty is a pressing issue, especially affecting the BIPOC community. In Texas, 1 in 5 women and girls aged 12-44 live below the Federal Poverty Line, with almost 60% of these families headed by women. This disparity impacts single mothers and minorities, with 62% lacking adequate menstrual resources. Period poverty is a neglected public health issue with significant physical, mental, and emotional consequences, exacerbated by the stigma surrounding menstruation.

Your support for our give-back initiative empowers us to educate girls about menstrual health and provide natural period products to inner-city BIPOC girls. We collaborate with non-profits and schools like Women Divine, NFP, For Oak Cliff, Friendship West, Girl Scouts of North Texas, Just a Goal With Queens, NFP, and Amandla!
