Embrace Your Cycle, Empower Your Life

Twymeika “Jendayi” Hill-Jones is an educator, advocate, and community leader committed to transforming the way menstrual health and body literacy are understood. As the founder of Empower You, PERIOD!, she works at the intersection of education, access, and dignity, equipping families with the knowledge, language, and tools to support girls with confidence and pride.

As an educator, Twymeika witnesses significant gaps in menstrual health awareness and access to care. What began as classroom advocacy grew into a broader mission: to close the knowledge gap, destigmatize reproductive health conversations, and empower girls to navigate this transition with clarity and confidence.

Guided by Compassion, Rooted in Knowledge

Rooted in both personal healing and years of advocacy within schools and communities, Emerging Gracefully was written to address the real gaps Twymeika witnessed firsthand.

While leading hygiene assemblies and educational workshops, she saw how many girls entered high school without a clear understanding of their menstrual cycles and how that confusion quietly impacted their confidence, self-esteem, and sense of control.

In Emerging Gracefully, Twymeika breaks down the stigma surrounding menstruation and womb wellness, offering families practical guidance, language, and tools to navigate this transition with dignity and confidence.

This book is more than education. It is an invitation to shift the narrative and empower the next generation to embrace their bodies with knowledge and pride.
